In accordance with the Chief Medical Officer of Health's Directive #2, released on May 26, 2020 we are providing all our regular services.
As you know, your care and safety and the safety of our team is our top priority. Please read to find out about our procedures and office environment.
How we are protecting you and our staff:
Ela and Lizzy, our Front Desk Administrators will contact you by phone to book your appointment. They will inquire about your current Covid status. They will then email you a letter to confirm your appointment. The letter will contain these links to complete the fillable Personal Information Form on our website, and Medical Information sheet. Please ensure that these forms are completed and submitted at least one day before your appointment. If you would prefer to have the information forms emailed to you, or require assistance in completing the forms please let us know and we will be happy to help you.
To ensure physical distancing we are only allowing 2 patients at a time in the office reception area. Any people accompanying you to your appointment will need to wait outside, unless absolutely required. Please call us from the parking lot to let us know that you have arrived for your appointment; we will let you know if it is ok for you to come into our office.
We require that you wear a facemask before entering the office, and at all times in our office (except of course when we are providing treatment). If you have your own (cloth is ok) please bring it with you. If you do not have one, don’t worry, we have some disposable masks available for you just inside the front door to the office. We also have a PPE recycling bin to collect used masks to cut down on our environmental footprint.
You will notice we have installed new shields in the reception area (Dr. Tervit built them himself!). They are there to help protect our staff, and you as well. Please remember to practice physical distancing at all times within the office whenever possible.
When you enter the office please sanitize your hands with the sanitizer provided for you on the counter to your left.
An assistant will show you to the treatment room. Our assistants and doctors will be wearing N95 masks, along with plastic face shields or other eye protection, and of course gloves. We may ask you to rinse your mouth with a mouthwash which may help to decrease any pathogens in your mouth. We have a HEPA air exchanger in each treatment room to help remove aerosol particles from the air. Following each treatment our rooms are left unoccupied for a determined amount of time in accordance to Guidance from the RCDSO. This allows time for any aerosols to settle and for the staff to thoroughly sanitize the contents of the room before the next patient is treated.
Please remember to put your face mask back on following your treatment, and sanitize your hands before exiting the office.
Payment Options
Our goal is always to save your natural teeth, and we realize that the Covid-19 pandemic is making it necessary for many of us to readjust our finances. To make it easier for you to budget for your endodontic treatment, we are offering customized payment options. If you wish to take advantage of these options, please let the Front Desk Admin Team know and they will be happy to accommodate you.
If you have any questions regarding our procedures, please give us a call. We are here for you and will make sure that your needs are taken care of. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram as we are constantly updating both of these with new information.
Thank you for being our patient and stay safe!
