We understand the need for energy efficiency, emission reductions and attaining the goal of Net Zero. To help met our Net Zero Goals Burlington Endodontics is Bullfrogpowered® with green energy.

For every kwh of electricity we utilize Bullfrog's generators put 100% green electricity onto the grid. Basically, Bullfrog ensures the electricity going onto the grid on our behalf is from clean, renewable sources.

Bullfrog's electricity is sourced from a blend of wind and low-impact hydro power sourced from new Canadian renewable energy facilities and they support Indigenous led green energy projects. 

By choosing green energy, we are reducing our organization’s energy pollution, supporting community-based renewable energy projects in our region and across Canada, and helping lead the way to a renewably powered future. Dr. Tervit is a graduate of Aldershot High School in Burlington and we have been awarding a Changemaker Scholarship to an Aldershot Graduate since 2020 to celebrate a student who has created a positive impact on their school, family and/or community throughout their years at Aldershot School. In so doing, this award also recognizes the potential of a student to build on that experience in becoming a community leader beyond the school.

We also participate in the City of Burlington Adopt a Bed Program. Keep an eye out for our flower beds on Guelph Line just south of our office.

Dental offices create a lot of waste. At Burlington Endodontics we are constantly looking for ways to minimize our environmental footprint. We use Teracycle Zero Waste Boxes for source separation of our disposable gloves, face masks and other medical waste, along with plastic packaging waste, oral care products and office supplies. Teracycle is a global leader in recycling waste that would otherwise go to landfill or incineration. They recycle and upcycle,

waste into useable products. Please visit their website to learn more about Terracycle , their programs and initiatives. 

We avoid purchasing dental products that are packaged in plastic, and are constantly looking for ways to reuse, rather than recycle or dispose of our dental supplies in order to cut down on unnecessary plastic waste.
